JoAnne
Morrissey is a Licensed Massage Therapist - Receiving most of her education
from Bancroft School of Massage in Worcester, MA. JoAnne's credits in massage
include: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Sports injuries,
Seated Chair Massage, and Anatomy and Physiology for Body Workers. She is a
professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, the National
Certification Bureau for Massage Therapists and Body Workers. JoAnne has been
practicing Massage Therapy since 2002 in her own place of business, “Sense of
Healing Massage Therapy”, located in Greenville, RI.
JoAnne, certified in Pregnancy Massage is also a Certified Infant
Massage Instructor (CIMI) a parent/caregiver educator who has completed an
intensive training and practicum work specifically designed by the
International Association of Infant Massage. In May of 2006,
JoAnne became certified in “Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy” (barefoot massage)
and is very excited about adding this unique, powerful bodywork to her
repertoire. Guests enthusiastically report that it is deeply therapeutic yet
luxuriously comfortable. “I am passionate about the field of Massage
Therapy and feel privileged to be a part of it. I love this healing work and
hope to continue on this path for years to come. My goal is to educate my
